Bible Verse:
"The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea. And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord." (Hosea 1:2, KJV)

Context:
Hosea’s life was a prophetic sign to Israel—his marriage to Gomer, an unfaithful woman, symbolized God’s relationship with unfaithful Israel.

Context:

Jeremiah is known as the Weeping Prophet because of his sorrow over Israel’s sins and the destruction of Jerusalem. He prophesied the Babylonian exile and wrote the book of Lamentations.

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord." (Malachi 4:5, KJV)

Context:
Malachi spoke of spiritual renewal and the coming of John the Baptist as the forerunner of Christ.

Context:
